Sheridan’s Milestone Game Lands Him A-10 Offensive Player of the Week

Richmond, Va. – University of Richmond men's lacrosse senior team captain and midfielder Joe Sheridan scored a career-high five goals in a 23-7 win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday to earn Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week honors.
With his second goal of the game, he reached the 100 career point milestone, becoming the 11th player in program history to do so.
He also recorded a ground ball and matched his career high with two caused turnovers.
Sheridan played a key role in Richmond's record-setting performance, as his five goals contributed to the Spiders' 23-goal output, the third-highest single-game total in program history. His two caused turnovers were also part of Richmond's single-game program record of 20 caused turnovers.
Sheridan and the Spiders host Saint Joseph's for Senior Day on Saturday at noon at Robins Stadium.
