Morton Earns Second A-10 Offensive Player of the Week Honor

WASHINGTON – For the second time this season, senior Alexis Morton was named Atlantic 10 Offensive Player of the Week.
In the 15-6 win over VCU on Saturday, Morton tallied 11 points on three goals and eight assists.
Morton tied the program's single-game record with 11 points and eight assists. She is only the fourth Spider in program history to reach 11 points in a game and just the second to record eight assists in a single game. The last Spider to reach 11 points was Kim Egizi against George Mason in 2018 and Rachel Ziemba against George Mason in 2021.
