RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's basketball team earned two spots on the 2026 Division I All-ECAC Teams, as Maggie Doogan was named to the First Team and Rachel Ullstrom collected Second Team honors, the Eastern College Athletic Conference announced Wednesday.
Doogan headlines the recognition after a dominant senior season, leading Richmond with 21.1 points and 7.9 rebounds per game. She shot 50.6 percent from the field, 40.4 percent from three-point range and 89.0 percent at the free throw line across 34 starts. Doogan scored 716 total points on the year and became one of the most productive players in program history, finishing her career with 2,138 points, good for second all-time at Richmond.
The forward delivered one of the top performances in the nation this season, scoring a program and Atlantic 10 record 48 points against Davidson on Jan. 10. She also added 10 rebounds in Richmond's NCAA Tournament game against Nebraska and posted multiple 30-point outings throughout the year.
Ullstrom earns All-ECAC Second Team honors after another strong season on the perimeter, averaging 13.9 points and 5.6 rebounds per game. She knocked down 92 three-pointers while shooting 40.9 percent from beyond the arc and started all 34 games for the Spiders.
The senior guard continued to be one of Richmond's most reliable scorers, reaching double figures in 25 games and providing a consistent outside presence for an offense that ranked among the nation's best in three-point shooting.
Richmond finished the 2025-26 season with its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance, continuing one of the most successful stretches in program history and ended the year with a 26-8 record and a 15-3 mark in Atlantic 10 Conference play.
The ECAC, one of the nation's oldest intercollegiate athletics organizations, includes nearly 200 member institutions across all three NCAA divisions. The conference supports student-athletes through championships, leagues and other competitive opportunities across a wide range of sports.
The ECAC named Maine's Adrianna Smith as Player of the Year, Siena's Francesca Schiro as Rookie of the Year and Fairleigh Dickinson head coach Stephanie Gaitley as Coach of the Year.
