Track and Field Announces 2026 Outdoor Schedule

RICHMOND, Va. – University of Richmond Director of Track/Head Women's Cross Country and Track & Field Lori Taylor has announced the 2026 outdoor schedule, featuring a home meet and a competitive slate of meets across Virginia, North Carolina, New Jersey and Pennsylvania leading into the postseason.

The Spiders open the season with the 19th annual Fred Hardy Invitational at Robins Stadium on Fred Hardy Track on Friday, March 20. Closing out March, Richmond will compete at the Raleigh Relays the following week, March 26-28.

The Spiders will travel to four meets in April. They will first kick off the month with the Colonial Relays April 3-4. The team will travel south to Durham, N.C., for the Duke Invitational April 9-11. Richmond will then head north for the IC4A/ECAC Championships April 17-18. The final regular-season meet will conclude with the Penn Relays, April 23-25.

Postseason action begins at the Atlantic 10 Championships on May 2-3, with qualifying athletes advancing to the NCAA East Preliminary May 27-30. Athletes who advance will travel to Eugene, Ore., for the NCAA Championships June 10-13.
