Spider Soccer Aug. 14 Match Versus VMI Moved to Richmond

RICHMOND, Va. — The University of Richmond women's soccer team has announced a change to its 2025 schedule. The Spiders will now open the regular season and play host to VMI on Thursday, Aug. 14, at 5 p.m. at President's Field with the game being broadcast on ESPN+.
The match was originally scheduled to be played in Lexington, Va., at VMI.
Richmond will open the 2025 season following a pair of exhibition matches against Loyola Maryland and ETSU. The Spiders are 1-2 all-time against VMI, with the most recent meeting resulting in a 2-0 loss at home on Sept. 12, 2018.
