
Spider Field Hockey Adds Six for 2025 Season

RICHMOND, Va. – Richmond field hockey head coach Martu Loncarica is excited to announce the addition of six newcomers, one transfer and five freshmen, for the 2025 season.
Amanda Cimillo, a junior goalkeeper, is a transfer from the University of Delaware. In two seasons in a reserve role with the Blue Hens, Cimillo made four appearances between the pipes including a start against UPenn. She recorded five saves, allowing only two goals, for a .714 save percentage.
Olivia Eusanio, a native of Centerport, N.Y., finished her prep career with 105 points on 25 goals and 17 assists for the Harborfields Tornadoes field hockey program in her senior season. She was a two-time NFHCA All-Region, MAX Field Hockey All-Northeast Region First Team, Newsday All-Long Island Field Hockey First Team, All-State and NFHCA National Academic Team selection. Eusanio was also named 2024 Newsday Player of the Year, 2024 Suffolk County Division 2 Offensive Player of the Year, 2024 All-Tournament Team, 2025 NFCHA Senior Impact Team and the 2024-25 Harborfields High Female Athlete of the Year.
Reese Miller, a native of Gloucester, Va., heads to Richmond after collecting All-District, All-Region and All-State accolades all four prep seasons with the Gloucester Lady Dukes field hockey program. Miller was named All-District and All-Region Player of the Year after her junior and senior seasons, while serving as a team captain. She completed her prep career with 112 goals, breaking the GHS program record for career goals scored. A two-time NFHCA All-Academic Team honoree, Miller was also selected for the Team USA Nexus Championships in 2021 and 2023.
Remy Phan, a native of Houston, helped the St. John's varsity field hockey program to three-straight Southwest Preparatory Conference Championships (2022, 2023, 2024) and a No. 12 national ranking. She was also a NFHCA National Academic Squad honoree. Phan also played with the Texas Pride club team and helped the team to a third-place finish at the National Club Championship and a No. 2 national ranking.
Caroline Simmons, a native of Austin, Texas, was a four-year varsity starter for the St. Andrew's Episcopal School program. As a senior team captain, Simmons was voted as the program's MVP as well as All-Southwest Preparatory Conference for a second-straight season. She was also a team captain for the Lone Star Field Hockey U19 Orange Team club program. Simmons was a four-year varsity starter for the girls basketball program, earning SPC All-Conference Team accolades in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Amy Stripling, a native of Darwin, Northern Territory, Australia, heads to Richmond with experience playing with Australia's Northern Territory State teams from the U13s to U21s. She also played with the SRA Territory Stingers Senior Womens and the Australian U18s National Future squads.
Richmond opens the 2025 season hosting Longwood Friday, August 29 at Crenshaw Field. Game time is set for 5 p.m. on ESPN+.
