RICHMOND, Va. — Dylan Homenick, a 6'11" center from Perkiomen School in Pennsburg, Pa., has signed with Spider men's basketball and will join the program for the 2025-26 season, the team announced Tuesday.
Homenick, a native of Surrey, British Columbia in Canada, helped lead Perkiomen into the semifinals of the Pennsylvania Independent Schools Athletics Association (PAISAA) state tournament last season as the Panthers went 19-9 against a top-tier schedule that included some of the best prep school teams in nation.
Homenick is a veteran of the Canada Elite AAU program and has traveled as far as China during his prep career, representing Canada at the 2024 Shanghai Future Cup event. He attended Elgin Park Secondary in British Columbia from 8th-12th grades.
Homenick becomes the fourth freshman in Richmond's Class of 2025, joining Aiden Argabright (Richmond, Va.), Will Harper (Washington, D.C.), and Donovan Richardson (Richmond, Va.).
