RICHMOND, Va. – The University of Richmond women's tennis team has the honor of highlight Andrea Campodonico as this week's Atlantic 10 Conference Player of the Week. The honor marks the second weekly award of her career and fourth for Richmond this season.

Against the Tribe, Campodonico and partner Lara Bakhaya defeated Hedda Gurholt and Ine Stange (W&M) 6-2 on the top doubles court. She followed that up with a gritty three-set win over Alessandra Anghel (W&M) on court two, 6-1, 4-6, 6-3.
Facing a Delaware squad riding a three-match win streak, Campodonico continued to deliver strong performances in both doubles and singles play. She and Bakhaya picked up another doubles win on court one, defeating Maryia Hrynashka and Paulina Jurkowska (Delaware) 6-4 to help Richmond secure the doubles point. She then capped the weekend by clinching the match for UR with a comeback singles victory over Alina Vasilenko (Delaware), 0-6, 6-4, 7-5.
