Center Mike Walz Set To Appear At World Of Beer For Behind The Web Monday 6-7pm

The President's Day edition of Behind The Web with head men's basketball coach Chris Mooney and Voice of the Spiders Bob Black is set for this Monday, Feb. 17 from 6-7pm at World of Beer, 11600 W. Broad Street. Junior center Mike Walz will be the player guest. The live radio show can be heard on 106.1 ESPN, richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com.Â

Walz poured in a career-high 20 points against Loyola Chicago Tuesday and followed that with nine points, four rebounds, four assists and an authoratative, game-clinching block Saturday against Fordham. In the Atlantic 10 opener against George Washington, he grabbed a career-high 15 rebounds. His 5.5 rebounds per games places him 24th in the A10. The Berwyn, PA native is making his second appearance of the season on Behind The Web but his first at World of Beer. Walz was on the show in January during a remote, studio-style broadcast because of snow in the Richmond area.
The radio program will be archived on richmondspiders.com and espnrichmond.com. Behind The Web will be held every Monday evening throughout the remainder of the college basketball season. The schedule of remaining shows is listed below.
