RICHMOND, Va. — For the second time in the last six weeks, Spiders freshman Addie Doroh has been named the Atlantic 10 Women's Golf Rookie of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. Doroh, from Charlottesville, Va., was honored for her performance at the Evie Odom Invitational earlier this month, where she shot 72-74-73/219 (+9) to tie for 31st among the 72 golfers in the field.
Doroh finished second among all Spiders at the event. It was her second-best result of the fall season after her fifth-place finish at the season-opening Tribe Invitational, for which she won her first A-10 Women's Golf Rookie of the Week honor on September 23.
Doroh finished the fall season with a 74.83 scoring average, third best on the team. She and the rest of the Spiders will return to competition on January 26-27 at the Sea Best Invitational in Jacksonville, Fla.
