Cross Country Closes Season at NCAA Southeast Regional

ROCK HILL, S.C. – The University of Richmond's cross country teams competed in the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship on Friday morning at the Winthrop Farm Course. Leading the women was junior Mollie Fenn and leading the men was junior Henry Haase.
Behind six Spiders, the women placed 20 out of 34 scoring teams. Richmond tallied 630 points behind 19thplace College of Charleston.
Fenn placed 106th out of 248 participants at 22:40.1.
Junior Paige Joyce finished at 23:03.0 placing 129th and junior Brooke Reif placed 139th at 23:11.3. Junior Phoebe Rubio placed 143rd at 23:15.2.
Freshman Hallie Muniz and Avery Beike made their first NCAA Regional appearance. Muniz finished at 23:20.9 (150th) and Beike finished at 23:42.4 (167th).
Haase led the Richmond group finishing at 32:30.0 placing 109th out of 235 participants.
Freshman Brady Barber competed in his first NCAA Regional Championship finishing at 33:26.8 placing 159th. Sophomore Eric Scully finished at 35:22.7 placing 214th.
